MOR commercials instigate an immediate channel change only to find another MOR commercial running in sync with the prior channel.
My family has taken a blood oath never to visit MOR furniture.

Form a protest outside the store. Do some garbage digging, find some trash on MOR (lies, untruthful ads, fraud etc.) then take it from there. I have an idea...bumper stickers "No MOR in 2005!" Hmmm... k gotta go!

Yes the ads are dumb and not worth the time spent watching them but in the Californian. When they are compaired to Cigerett copanies and Nazis.
I think you sound like a crazy freak.
I don't think any one died due to Mor ads or do they encourge hate of any group of people.

The context of the cigarette and Nazi comment was about who is not allowed to advertize. In that regard, I'd like to see Mor elevated to their status. Although I may be guilty of hyperbole, I can assure you that I'm aware of the difference between furniture, tobacco and concentration camps.

As for me being a crazy freak, I attribute that to being overdosed by Mor.

Attorney General Madrid Announces Settlement Agreement with Mor Furniture

(Albuquerque, NM) Attorney General Patricia Madrid and Mor Furniture for Less announced a settlement of issues raised in complaints filed by numerous Mor Furniture for Less customers and mediated by the New Mexico Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Some complaints concerned the delivery of broken or incomplete furniture and others involved excessive delays in the delivery of furniture. Many of the complaints have been resolved but several are still in the mediation process.

The Consumer Protection Division received a total of 21 complaints about Mor Furniture for Less. In addition, 59 different complaints against the company were filed with the Better Business Bureau.

In order to address consumer concerns and to prevent problems in the future Mor Furniture and the Attorney General have entered into a Written Assurance. The Assurance provides:

· Mor Furniture will stop its television advertisements of the two-day express delivery for a period of 90 days beginning August 1, 2002. The Attorney General was concerned with the representations of the TV ad and delivery when several of the complaints were due to delivery problems.

· Any customers of Mor Furniture for Less that have complaints or concerns about their furniture or customer service are asked to write: Edward Castellon, General Manager, Mor Furniture for Less, 4920 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. New Mexico consumers were previously being directed to the company’s headquarters in San Diego California. The Attorney General wanted a local unit of the company to handle consumer complaints.

· As part of the agreement Mor Furniture instituted a new practice of inspecting all furniture prior to delivery. Many complaints involved broken or wrong furniture when delivered to consumers.

The Office of the Attorney General and Mor Furniture have developed a system designed to smoothly and efficiently handle future complaints. If, after attempting to resolve its dispute

directly with Mor Furniture, any consumer is dissatisfied, Attorney General Madrid asks that a written complaint be filed. A complaint form may be obtained from her office by writing the Consumer Protection Division at: P.O. Drawer 1508, Santa Fe, NM 87504-1508, calling 1-800- 678-1508, or by downloading a complaint form from the Attorney General’s web site at http://www.ago.state.nm.us./

How 'bout that! It's almost as if the concept of "truth in advertizing" actually exists, or at least, once did.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and cannot watch t.v. without seeing an ad for Mor furniture on every single cable channel, every single commercial break. I switch the channel immediately when one of these obnoxious ads come on, only to see another one on a different channel! Why are they torturing everyone this way? I'll never shop at a Mor furniture store because of their OVER advertising!

ROBB YOU HAVE TO BE A SAD, BORED, LITTLEMAN, TO DEDICATE YOUR TIME ON THIS GARBAGE. I BET YOU GET ALL YOUR FURNITURE AT WALMART.

Wrong on all counts:
Not sad, not bored and not little. My time dedicated here is minimal and I avoid Walmart. I have been in a Walmart, though, as their commercials don't suck like Mor's.

So, do you work for Mor or are just a fan of their ads?
